New DateTime extension download

New DateTime extension download

ZakInterDevZakInterDev Posts: 51Questions: 16Answers: 0

Anyone else experiencing issues with downloading the new DateTime extension?

When using the 'Concatenate' option, there's an error the file is missing and if you deselect 'Concatenate', then it will download the zip without the DateTime extension.

I just tried it here and it downloaded as expected (that's concatenated).

Could you try it with your download options, please, and in the generated file the header will have a link referenced with "To rebuild ..." - please can you post that link here so we can take a look,

Exactly like your link with the extensions Buttons, FixedColumns and FixedHeader, I just got the error but when trying it again it worked. However, in the zip I see folders for each extension but DateTime. Is this intended? Is DateTime always included in the datatables.js file?

    Got the Error again:

Error: Unknown file - built/dt/dt-1.10.24/b-1.7.0/date-1.0.2/fc-3.3.2/fh-3.1.8/sl-1.3.2/DateTime-1.0.2/css/dataTables.dateTime.css Apologies for the error. This has been logged and will be investigated

I'm having problems with the new DateTime extension as well. I pulled it down via the download builder (it took a couple of tries as I initially got the same error mentioned above):

    https://datatables.net/download/#dt/jszip-2.5.0/pdfmake-0.1.36/dt-1.10.24/e-2.0.0/b-1.7.0/b-colvis-1.7.0/b-html5-1.7.0/b-print-1.7.0/date-1.0.2/fc-3.3.2/kt-2.6.1/sl-1.3.2

I added the new DataTables files into our project and run it and it doesn't seem to load the DateTime extension. I get this:

"Uncaught DateTime library is required For more information, please refer to https://datatables.net/tn/15"

As mentioned in the post above I also noticed there's no DateTime folder in the DataTables.zip like there are for the other extensions.

And as a side note on the DateTime page here:

    https://datatables.net/extensions/datetime/

in the download section the links to "individual files" and "a release package downloaded" go to pages that don't include DateTime.

    Thanks.

And as a side note on the DateTime page here:

Thanks, yep, I'm seeing that too. I've raised it internally (DD-1913 for my reference) and we'll report back here when there's an update.

And that link, thanks for posting, is definitely showing the issue with this:

    https://cdn.datatables.net/v/dt/jszip-2.5.0/dt-1.10.24/e-2.0.0/b-1.7.0/b-colvis-1.7.0/b-html5-1.7.0/b-print-1.7.0/date-1.0.2/fc-3.3.2/kt-2.6.1/sl-1.3.2/datatables.min.js

I've raised that one too (DD-1914 for my reference) and we'll report back here too when that's addressed. Apologies for the inconvenience, we'll get it addressed quickly.

    Cheers,

    Colin

    Colin,

One other (slightly off-topic) thing I thought I should mention... I'm seeing this in the console now - looks like one of the map files might be missing from the js file generated by the download builder.

Source map error: Error: request failed with status 404
    Resource URL: http://localhost:8080/js/datatables/datatables.min.js
    Source Map URL: pdfmake.min.js.map

    Thanks.

    Ben
