How can we use AutoFill in a multi-table setup

I've two tables in the same page and am finding that while the autoFill works when instantiated twice. It starts to breakdown (goes to the wrong table) when I add triggers. Is there a best-practice or work-around like defining it as a variable like we do for datatable that can be used in this scenario? Thanks.
