Fixing datatable header in a scrollable panel

Hi,
I've used Datatables for a while on this site, which is great for making the tariff table responsive. However, I want to now fix the 'rooms' header at the top of the panel, whilst the rest of the table is scrollable (of course, keeping the table responsive). I've tried to use 'fixedHeader: true' but this fixes the header at the top of the screen, not the top of the panel. Looking at my site, is there any way I can make the 'rooms' row static - I can delete the image header at the top so the 'rooms' row is at the very top of the scrollable panel.

The fixedHeader.headerOffset option will probably work here. There is an example here.
